Approximately 8 years ago i purchased a Perfect Day by Serta mattress (firm). For the first three years the mattress was confortable, as it's firmness was compensated by it's 4 inch plush top. However, soon after it felt like sleeping on bricks. At times i sleep on my side, other times i sleep on my back. Regardless i got up the next day feeling like i had been put through a meat grinder. It was time to look for a new mattress, what a mission! I researched quite a few, more like 50 different mattresses. My budget extended as much as $700; as such, brands like Saatva, Casper, and Leesa fell out of range. I had the opportunity to purchase the Eve mattress since it went on sale for $679 from its current $850 price tag. Also, the Tuft and Needle, which sells for $600 seemed like a good buy. But as i scrolled down the page i discovered the sealy cocoon for $650. I read each review, as well as the questions asked. The reviews were very impressive, and they offer a choice of firm or soft; wheras, Tuft and Needle, and Eve only offer one choice.I decided to go with the SOFT version. This mattress is amazing. It's soft, but you don't sink in. I find it comfortable whether sleeping on my back or my side. Great investment for a relaxing night of sleep.
