Update: our daughter does love it and it's held up for her jumping around, sliding down the slide, the dogs lay on the bottom bunk sometimes, as well as my husband, and it has all held up. The seller refunded us 30% of the cost due to the damaged parts and more complex assembly. Remember that the top bunk really should be treated as a 200 lb top limit. Even a few older kids up there at once may be too much. Hope this review helps--Many parts arrived damaged even though the outer packaging is fine. The provided tool used for the 5.5 hour grueling assembly project effaced and wore down in the first step to the point where it wasn't usable (see images for just some of the damage). One of the roof pieces had no hole drilled in it. We tried screwing the wood screw in and you can see the image of that failed attempt here too. We had to use a drill with a bit 2 sizes smaller than these screws to put the hole in to be able to assemble the product. We had to use our own allen key, as theirs was ruined after half of one step. The bed itself looks nice, but the bottom bunk has almost now head clearance even for our 2 year old. The whole furniture wobbles a little when she climbs up or uses the slide, but she says it feels safe. My husband agrees it feels sturdy when he climbed on the top bunk to test it, but it wobbles a LOT with him on it and the slates bow under his weight. He weighs 180 lbs, and our daughter 35. Together they are still 35 lbs under the maximum weight, but the furniture seemed so unstable he got off immediately. The top bunk max weight is really only 200 lbs, maybe. There are NO extra pieces of hardware. If you lose even one screw, you cannot propeely complete assembly. The alide doesn't sit exactly against the bed because it was cut poorly. There is a gap between the bunks and the wall where things can fall into the void forever lost because the roof is designed poorly and juts out past the bunks in the back. You get what you pay for. Have your own hardware on hand and do not buy this if you have never assembled your own furniture before.Good quality
