I had bought this same Lumex 2" foam 3 years ago (went back to my orders) and it was really top quality for convoluted foam (still have it). This one is no where near as good. First it is 1.5" not 2" (including the egg crate bumps) and yes I let it expand for days (not the problem). .5" may not sound like much but that is 25% less. The bumps are slightly bigger so the base is even less. Second, it is just made of a cheaper foam. The whole piece is much lighter than the original. This one is better than some of the really cheap egg crate foam toppers, but a big disappointment from the original. I will be sending it back, not worth $45.
