Had it for a couple months it is very nice so far I have not washed it I am trying to avoid that. All the glass beads stay in place though, it is a nice purchase, I bought another for my friends sonPerfect weight and so comfortableIt's taken me years to pull the trigger and buy a weighted blanket. I'm now wondering why I didn't do it years ago! This blanket, in particular, is very nice. I don't have any others to compare it to, but I'm pleased with it. The label says it's cotton, and it feels like it is, not incredibly soft, but nice than percale. Considering this will be used with a duvet cover, which can be washed, the cotton was more important for breathability than feel. On the topic of duvet covers, the blanket has 8 loops sturdily stitched in for tying to a cover, one on each corner and one in the middle of each side. The cover I purchased from an unrelated brand only had 6 ties, but the loops worked just fine when I put it on.The weight of the blanket appears to be evenly spread, for the most part. The quilted squares at the very edges and corners of the blanket do seem to have fewer of the micro beads in them, but they do still have some weight. The quilted squares are even and well stitched, they seem to be holding in the beads adequately. The edge of the blanket is nicely finished with a reinforced band of fabric. The blanket does appear to have some very light batting, just enough to give it structure and prevent the beads from pulling the blanket into a pile as they shift. We put the blanket on our bed a few days ago, replacing a summer weight comforter. Both my husband and I felt like we've slept better and woken up better rested. I usually wake up a few times in the night to shift position, and I've found that significantly reduced since we put the blanket on the bed. I have noticed that the blanket is a little warmer than the comforter it replaced, but not enough to be uncomfortable. I generally like the room very cold at night, so I can cuddle up under a blanket, so I only see this as a positive thing in the winter. I do think this would be difficult to use in warmer weather without air conditioning, though I believe that would likely be true for any weighted blanket. The bottom line is that this blanket looks like it does in the product description, it's well made, from early inspection, and works like it's supposed to. If I needed a second blanket I wouldn't hesitate to buy another of the same brand. My 11 year old has anxiety that causes him to have trouble falling asleep and he also wakes up during the night for up to several hours. The sleep deprivation has caused his anxiety to get worse over time. I've tried Magnesium oil, Melatonin, and several other things but the only thing that has worked is this weighted blanket! I got the 15LB blanket. My son slept through the night the first night and if he wakes up its only for a few mins and right back to sleep. He is so much happier and A LOT less anxiety to deal with. He is also a very hot sleeper and he never complains if it being too hot. It does not come with a duvet cover but we use a sheet and another blanket on top of this one. It stays clean. This is 100% worth it!I researched alot before buying one. Ordered several of the “best seller” ones. And this is the one I kept. The fabric is smooth feeling and high quality. The individual pockets were the smallest I saw anywhere, and it does matter. The edging around the blanket is nice quality and sewn on a lot nicer than the rivals I checked out. The stitching is very well done with heavier thread than some others had. No missed or longer stitches-all things I noticed in other top more expensive blankets. Have had no beads leak yet. Emailed the company a question and they got right back to me. And I also thought it was heavier than 15 pounds but I weighed it and it was spot on the 15 pounds. I am very impressed with it. Can not believe the price. Have not tried washing it.If you're like me and compare and contrast price v quality and read through many many many reviews positive and negative to find "the one" believe the people who recommend this one. I ordered this and two others in the similar price range so I could examine them because somethings are difficult to buy online and this one stands out for the quality of the workmanship, size of quilt squares, the stitching, the finish, the feel of the blanket and the fact it's 100% cotton and high quality cotton at that. I will return the others and buy another of these as both my 12year boy and I will want one each.So I think my cats loves this blanket just as much as me. I adore this blanket! The only thing I regret about buying it is that I think I should have got a heavier one. I know that for my weight they suggest a 15lb one (I weigh 145), but I got a 17lb one and I'd really think I would have been happier with a 20 or 25lb one. I flop and turn so much that I wake myself up and i do it less now but i still do. I also get to sleep a lot faster. It used to take me hours to finally fall asleep, but know I'm out in a matter of minutes!I've tried several Weighted blankets before I could write this review. I'm not a fan of extremely heavy blanket and neither of low weighed comforters that promise good warmth and sleep. I was super skeptical when I tried this Blanket but I've to say I'm been blown by its great features in the last week that I have tried it. It's extremely comforting and makes you feel asleep a lot faster due to added warmth. The quality is hear for as long as I've used so far. I'll keep this review updated based on next few weeks but this is hands down a must buy for anyone debating on making a purchase!
