Description
Evolution Line of Mattress Encasements is made of a soft cottonlike fabric with incredibly tiny pores (1 micron pore size). The tight microfilament Evolon is a breathable, nonwoven fabric protects without a rustling sound. Nothing but pure air comes through its millions of microchannels. The fabric dries quickly, wicking moisture away from your skin. Washing only makes it softer and will not remove its efficacy after repeated washings up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Evolon fabric received the OekoTex 100 class 1 certificate, meaning there are no harmful substances, making it safe for even baby skin. It has no PVC or any other toxic chemical treatments. These components are safe for human health and the environment. The production of Evolon is environmentally friendly as shown by many health and environmental awards to its manufacturer. Sleep Safe Zipcovers Evolution is a great complement to your high count sheets. Our encasements are constructed by quality craftsmen in the southeastern U.S. This is the best high tech to filter out very small things and works so well you will not know it is there. Out of the package, this product feels coarse; however, after the very first wash, it becomes cottony soft to the touch, yet maintains its durability. Encasing your mattress and pillows as barrier, impenetrable encasement is the simplest way to protect your sleep.

For more than a dozen years of our marriage, my husband has snored. Loudly. Not loud enough to rattle the dishes in the kitchen cabinet, but enough to keep waking me ALL night long, most nights.Ear plugs help, as does a white noise box, but the noise still wakes me, regularly. So, I often opt for the guest bedroom when he's extra loud, or I simply need a night of uninterrupted sleep. We bought this Eco Living Friendly mattress case a week ago, because my husband commented that he wasn't sleeping soundly since our recent move.I'm not sure why I decided to try an allergy-related solution. Our mattress was relatively new, but it had been in storage (in a thin, soft plastic case) for a few months, while we were house-hunting in a new area.My husband was sure the problem wasn't the mattress. After all, he's always snored, and -- during our marriage -- we've owned at least three different mattresses.I wasn't so sure. Our first mattress was one he'd bought around the time he met me. Another mattress had been a floor model, but looked (and felt) like new. Another one was supposed to be new (and it was still wrapped in plastic), but it had come from a mattress outlet. So, I couldn't be sure any of our mattresses had been truly pristine.Starting the night we put this ELF case on our queen-sized bed, the change has been dramatic.During the past seven nights, with no other changes, he's slept SNORE-FREE for five nights. During the other two nights, he snored gently and quietly for about two minutes. The rest of the night, he didn't snore at all.At first, this scared me so much, I kept checking to be sure he was still breathing. (Except for one night in a hotel -- on the road during a vacation in 2008 -- he has always snored. The fact that I recall that I so clearly recall that one night should give you an idea how unusual the past week has been.)The ELF case fit our queen-sized mattress very nicely, with room to spare. We had no problem with the seams or the zipper. It's probably best to take the mattress off the bed, and for two people to work together to put the case on the mattress, but it's not a difficult task. And, while the weave of the fabric is extremely dense, it's not rubberized and it seems to breathe just fine. We haven't noticed any change in the comfort of the mattress. After all these years -- and multiple failed attempts to resolve my husband's snoring -- this is amazing. I wish we'd tried this long ago.If your partner snores, this is a solution worth trying.
